I am an emerging visual artist who specializes in contemporary portraits and abstract art. I enjoy exploring colour interactions to convey light/dark, emotions and in abstraction. I play with different brush strokes, mark- making and drips, to create moods and visual aesthetics. Predominantly a self-taught artist, with a strong dedication to ongoing refinement of my skills and artistic style. I am currently exploring human connection to animals. My abstracts capture the moments when I standstill and watch a bird or birds flying overhead. I am mesmerised and full of wonder in those moments.
